In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, pepper, bicarb and water until you make a thin-ish batter.
Stir in the cabbage, carrot and green onion until fully mixed.
Divide the mixture into four, and spoon them into pancake shapes on a hot griddle.
Cook on both sides until they are brown and the okonomiyaki is cooked through.
Drizzle each serving with Japanese mayo and Japanese barbecue sauce, and sprinkle with chilli and/or seaweed. Enjoy!
