Slow cooked chicken

Instructions
  1. Place whole chicken in the slow cooker. Add garlic, ginger, star anise, cinnamon sticks, water, soy sauce and Chinese cooking wine. Place lid on the slow cooker and set temperature to low.
  2. Once chicken is cooked, remove from the slow cooker and pull pieces of chicken of the frame. Arrange chicken on a bed of rice with some of the liquid from the slow cooker.
  3. Garnish with garlic, ginger, chillies, spring onions and coriander.
  4. Heat peanut oil in a saucepan (2 minutes) and gently spoon over the top of the garnish. Enjoy!
