I only stumbled across Organic CADA Muesli when I bought my Thermomix and was flipping through the recipe book. CADA stands for Coconut, Apple, Dates and Almonds. Someone recommended it to me as a delicious, fresh and healthy breakfast. It is definitely a quick, easy dish to throw together of a morning, or even to prepare the night before. You can make it without a Thermomix, it is just a bit more rustic.
The four different ingredients make for a delightful clash of flavours and textures. They are also great healthy wholefoods that provide you with plenty of nutrients and fibre for your diet. Coconut boosts your metabolism. Apples are rich in antioxidants. Dates are high in vitamins and minerals. Almonds have healthy fats, fibre, protein, magnesium and Vitamin E.
In summer CADA is great paired with Greek or natural yoghurt and in winter it is a great topper for porridge with a dash of honey.
