My friend has been making variations of this Easy Sultana Apple Slice for years. It is so simple and quick. She said that her own mum used to make it when unexpected guests arrived because it was that easy to whip up.
As Winter sets in, this is the perfect slice because it is reminiscent of apple pie. It is delicious warm with a dollop of cream or ice cream. It is also a great home-made lunchbox treat. To jazz it up further, you could top it with icing and chopped nuts.
