Method:
- Pre heat oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
- Place entire contents of packet in a large mixing bowl.
- Add ½ cup honey and 100 ml of either melted butter or oil.
- Mix thoroughly making sure all ingredients are combined.
- Place in a greased and lined slice tin and press down firmly.
- Bake at 170 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once cool cut into squares.
- Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
For an extra treat you can add ¼ cup of chocolate buttons or crushed nuts of your choice.
Vegan Option:
Substitute Honey with “vegan apple honey” or Brown Rice Syrup which is a healthier, less sweet alternative.
