When we first started The Organic Place there were two things we were really sure about; we wanted it to be an online store and we wanted to deliver direct to peoples homes. Being a parent of three young children, I understand the time and effort it takes to get everyone in the car, head to the shops, battle the traffic and the crowds, park the car, cross the roads, deal with tantrums, walk up and down the isles, wait in line at the checkout, carry the bags…..and on it goes. That’s hours of my life wasted! Our aim is to make everyone shopping experience as quick, easy and convenient as possible. So yes, you can order online from the comfort of your home and we’ll take care of the rest for you.
Where does The Organic Place deliver?
We started with just a few areas in the Western Suburbs and we’ve now grown to deliver to over 85 different suburbs. You can find the full list of those suburbs HERE.
And tonight, we are so excited to announce that as of Thursday 6th July, we will be adding a brand new delivery route…..to the Surf Coast!! That’s right everyone from Geelong and beyond, we’ve listened to your pleas and are heading your way. You will be able to place your orders from Thursday 29th July for delivery to the following Surf Coast suburbs:

How much is delivery?
Delivery to all areas is a flat rate of $7.95. However free shipping applies to all Fruit and/or Veg bag subscriptions and orders over $100. We will also provide you with a once off free shipping code when you sign up to our newsletter
What day do you deliver?
We delivery every Thursday. Orders close on Tuesday, 12noon for bread orders and 8pm for all other orders. Our certified organic fruit and veg comes fresh from the market on Thursday morning.
What time will my delivery arrive?
Due to the wide variety of orders we receive each week, we are unable to provide you with an exact time; it all depends on how many orders we have and from what areas. We can tell that your order will arrive sometimes between late morning to early evening and you will receive an email letting you know when your order has been packed and is on it’s way. If it gets to dinner time and you still haven’t received your order, please give us a call. We also recommend following us on facebook where we will keep you updated if there are any issues affecting delivery (such as traffic etc.)
Do I need to be home to accept my delivery?
No. If you are not home at the time of delivery we will leave your bag in a safe place, waiting for you when you arrive home. Please feel free to leave instructions for where you would like us to leave your order in the notes section at the checkout.
Who will deliver my order?
We have ourselves a wonderful team of Melbourne Mums who deliver all of our orders with love and care. No robots and no distribution companies. It is important to us to build great relationships with our customers so if you’re up for it, when we knock on your door, feel free to have a chat, tell us about your day or have a whinge about your kids…we totally get it. Getting to see and talk to our customers makes delivery day lot’s of fun for everyone!
